How far in advance do I need to place an order?
Orders received by midnight will be fulfilled on the following operational day (weekdays, unless you have a special request for a weekend delivery).
What if I'm not home to receive my order?
Please leave a cooler or other type of container somewhere easy and obvious,
and your order can be left inside of that. Indicate these instructions when
your order is placed. A photo will be provided of how your order is left.
How do I return something that is bad or wrong?
Product defects, spoilage, or other manufacturer issues are not handled by Gecko Delivery. You will have to return it to the store or manufacturer directly, or you can have it delivered through us for another fee. You'll be provided with a copy your receipt so you can proceed with a return however you prefer.
Gecko Delivery's personalized shopping service guarantees that, to the best of our
abilities, your items are hand-selected with great care.
What if the store doesn't have what I want?
When placing your shopping order, be as specific as you want with your requested items.
Include brand names and item details, and whether or not you'd be okay with a
substitution. You will only be charged for the items purchased, so if the store
doesn't have something you want, you won't be charged for it.
Do you deliver from restaurants?
Prepared food delivery is not available at this time due to the time-sensitive nature
of those types of deliveries. We can't guarantee how long a delivery may take, and we don't want you ending up with cold or soggy food.
How do I pay?
Payment is currently accepted via Venmo (@geckodelivery), Paypal (grocerygecko@gmail.com), Square, or personal check.
Can you deliver alcohol, cigarettes, or other restricted items?
Any order that can be prepaid and ready for pickup can be delivered. If you are wanting shopping service for items that include age-prohibited items, we can't help you there unfortunately.
Can you deliver prescriptions?
This can be arranged - just let us know the details as you place your order.
Can I use EBT/Food Stamps/SNAP benefits?
If it's able to be prepaid and ready for pickup, it can be delivered. At this time, we have no way to offer shopping service which is then paid for this way.
Do you deliver geckos?
I try not to contribute to the spread of invasive species, though I'm never sure who may hitch a ride. If you're ordering geckos from somewhere and need them delivered, well, that level of irony just may be irresistible.
